Professional Hard Disk Drive Recovery Services

DataRAID performs advanced data recovery for all types of hard disk drives including internal IDE, ATA, SCSI, SATA, external Firewire and USB drives. We have an in-depth understanding of the architecture of all drives which helps to make for a swift and smooth recovery. We maintain a team of software and hardware engineers to develop and deploy custom solutions when needed for even the most difficult of recovery situations.Emergency Data Recovery

If you hear clicking or any other strange sounds emitting from your hard drive, turn the drive off immediately and do NOT try any recovery attempts. Damage to the platters can occur if the hard drive is continually run in such a degraded state and can make data recovery more difficult if not unrecoverable.

Proven Qualified Expertise

DataRAID has been successfully recovering data from failed computer hard disk drives for years and with continuous investments, research, and development of proprietary tools we lead the industry with unmatched cutting edge technology.

Time and time again we live up to and exceed the expectations as the proven leaders in hard drive data recovery services. We support and perform data recovery for all makes, models, and drive sizes, from the latest quarter-sized microdrives to the oldest of Bigfoot ATA hard drives. As one of the world's leading companies specializing in hard disk data recovery when dealing with DataRAID you can be assured that our recovery methods are warranty safe and meet manufacturer's requirements. Our engineers are qualified at hard drive recovery, RAID, Exchange & Mail, Windows NT, UNIX, MAC, tape recovery, SQL database recovery, password retrieval, and much more. No matter how the data loss occurred, our experienced data recovery team has the ability to recover it for you.

Last year, DataRAID Data Recovery established a data recovery success rate well above 90% of all drives sent for analysis. These included the  recovery of data files from crashed hard drives, physically damaged disks, as well as rebuilding RAID & multi-disk systems. We perform successful data recovery and in many cases return the data within 24 hours!

Regardless the configuration or platform DataRAID Can help

DataRAID is ready to help regardless the cause of your data loss, some of which may include:

  • Accidental re-forming of partitions
  • Hard disk crash or hard disk component failure
  • Accidental deletion of data
  • Ticking or grinding noises coming from the hard drive while powering up or trying to access files. This symptom almost always indicates a failing hard drive and is often accompanied by some of the other symptoms. (Most drives will emit a light mechanical hum that a user may notice under normal operation. An indication of impending failure is when the “normal sound” changes to louder ticking or grinding noises.)
  • Computer won't boot. Blue or black screen after power up. The system will not load Windows or other operating system
  • Applications that are unable to run or load data
  • Trying and failing to start an application such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
  • Opening folders that should be full of files but appear to be empty
  • Inaccessible drives and partitions
  • Corrupted data
  • Visible fire or water damage
  • Media surface contamination and damage

Here is a few examples of the most common Hard Drive errors you may experience. These are all signs of a failed or failing hard drive, if you experience one of these errors you may need the services that DataRAID Data Recovery offers. Contact us for free professional consultation.

Many of the errors above most likely you are in need of professional data recovery an should immediately contact the hard disk data recovery professionals at DataRAID for assistance as you may have a defective or failed hard disk drive.

Some background information as to why you may be receiving these errors:

Your computer BIOS performs a power-on self-test (POST) when it starts up the system to check out the PC and make sure that everything is working properly. Assuming that the BIOS is able to boot the system far enough to gain access to the video subsystem, it will display information about the PC as it boots. It will also use the video system to communicate error messages to the user, therefore, most boot problems will be displayed via video error messages as in the examples provided above.

An error message can be produced by various parts of the system depending on how far into the boot process the system gets before it is produced. Most error messages are produced by the system BIOS, as it is responsible for most of the functions of starting the boot. However, other physical errors can also be relayed to the OS and the messages tend to be operating-system-specific.
